Baby Bottles Harms and Protections

-Baby bottles are used to feed the infants. Mostly they are used to serve formula milk, juices, water, and other liquids. Mostly these bottles are made of plastic. And it is frequently seen, that most babies are habitual to fell asleep having bottles in their mouth. This is the most dangerous thing for babies. Because, as these bottles are used to serve formula milk, juices, or any other liquid having sugar or carbohydrates when the baby fell asleep having a bottle in his mouth, the bacteria start forming acid around the teeth. They become infected and are look chocolate color in spite of white.


Your baby's milk teeth are as important as your permanent teeth. The teeth appear at 6 months of your baby's age. And when infants are fed in bottles with rubber nipples, it not only harmful for their delicate milk but for their stomach too. In term of teeth, they get damaged their teeth that do not effect their dental health but their beautiful smile also. Because if milk teeth are infected then your baby may have problems at the time of permanent teeth also, their teeth may have more space among them, these breaks not only helpful for bacteria to make cavities, but also affect your baby's look.

Other than this it also harmful for the digestive system if it is used carelessly. Because, these plastic feeding bottles cause cholera, diarrhea, and other problems related to the digestive system. Sometimes child caught in such averse condition, that it becomes a nightmare for parents.    


You need to take some care while using that type of feeding bottle.


  • Don't allow your baby to fell asleep having the bottle in his or her mouth. Finish their feed under your own supervision. 
  • After each feed clean their gums with a soft pad or a clean and soft cloth.
  • Change their nipples regularly on weekly basis, to protect their stomach.
  •  Boil or sterilize all bottle accessories minimum of twice a day.
  • Don't leave the bottle unclean after a feed at any cost.
Try to train your baby to drink in a cup or mug, at least after his first birthday, your baby should not use bottles or training cups or any other sipping feeder but they should use cups or mugs.
