Fashion for kids

--> Now a days everything needs to follow some trends. In the same way, the dressing and style express your style. As you are curious about your look and wants to be stylish and good looking, in the same way your kids also need to be good looking and charming.
As you know, little kids do not have any awareness. It depends on their care taker, how they make their kids stylish. It is training for your children to how dressed up properly, according to trend and their own look. The children, whose parents are conscious about their look and style, they are more sensible about their fashion, when they are grown up and not need to be dictated.
In this case, parents keep in view their kid's complexion and physic.Because when you go to shop dresses for you children and like the piece that appeals you in term of color and design. But, keep in your mind it may not suit to your child's complexion. Sometime you bought more fluffy and stuffy dress, but your kid is thin and lean, it would not suit him. Or some time you choose a bright color but your kid has some how dark complexion, then it would not make your child more prominent. Therefore I want to say, select according to your kid's look, not for only design and color.
Some times kids not like to wear some type of stuff, e.g, my own niece hate to wear tight dresses. she likes to wear loose and soft dress.
The other thing is the color scheme. You manage it as contrast or matching. Some colors are suitable with any combination. Such as black, brown, gray, these colors facilitate you in shoe selection for kids.
Be charming and take care of your kids.

Safety Tips for Kids at Play Ground

Outdoor activity is an important part of child growth and development. Because exercise and supports are important for the physical growth and strength.Usually, kids are taken to the playgrounds for exercise and supports. And there are some things that can cause problems for kids.  According to a guess, round about 200,000 kids are treated in hospitals for the play ground injuries. My own niece got hurt in the playground,  4 years ago. She had a deep wound exact at her eyebrow and could not appear in exams. Therefore, some safety measures should be taken before let the kids at playgrounds.

Safety Tips at Playgrounds:

  • First of all play ground should be divided into three parts. One part for infants and toddlers. Second, for small children, from 2-6 years. and third one for older kids. And there should be very clear guide lines for each part. So that the kids may not get confused.
  • The surface and structure of playground be appropriate for kids. There should not be more slippery or  hard places. there should be no dangerous materials like broken glass or twisted metal, in the play ground.
  • The presence of some adult and mature person in the kid's play ground is necessary, for the proper supervision of kids.
  • The kids should be properly trained about the use and management of gaming equipment. Such as use of helmets, pads and other things. Particularly, the younger kids are mostly get injured by the swings. Suppose, a child has a cap on his head, and he is on swing. He feels that his cap is about to fall from his head, he would leave the swing rope to keep the cap at his head. That may make him unbalance and he falls from the swing. Now you can imagine the condition of that child. Now it is the responsibility of older people to make their kids  aware of preferences at the play ground.
  • The equipment should be properly checked by someone. The broken elements should be removed immediately. And it should also be kept in view that the game or the things which is going to be used by kids, if it suits them according to their age and physic.

Universal Children Day (20 Nov)

Background:

The Children's day is celebrated globally on 20, Nov. In 1953, It was first celebrated by the International Union of Children Welfare in Geneva. Then in the coming year, it was celebrated by United Nations, on 20th Nov. 20, Nov is the day when United Nations General Assembly aimed the declaration of the rights of children.  And on the same day, The convention on the Rights of Child was signed. Therefore, till now, 20, Nov is celebrated as International Children Day.

Universal Children's Day:

Universally Children's day is celebrated on 20, Nov. But different countries celebrate children's day on different dates. Such as in central African states  Children's day is celebrated on 25 Dec.  In the same way in China and Azerbaijan, it is celebrated on 1 June, and in Argentina, it is celebrated on the second Sunday of August. In short people in different countries celebrate this event on different dates and days.
But it is not the matter when it is going to be celebrated, the matter is its importance. Why is it celebrated?  It shows How much a nation is civilized? and How much it conceders its next generations? Because the children are the future of the world and world is that what we make it.
Anyhow, this day is celebrated for the children and their rights. The children have the right to live peacefully. In developed countries, apparently, children are safe and sound and have everything they need. But they have problems also. Most of the kids there suffer from loneliness and lack of attention by parents, as they spent their childhood in nurseries and boardings. Excessive use of alcohol in society causes trouble of alcoholic abuse. Although most people are sensible and take care of their kids while taking drugs. But some are careless about the effects on children.
In underdeveloped countries, the children's condition is worse, as most of them are deprived of their primary needs. Many kids are deprived of a typical childhood because of poverty and want. They have to labor for their family and their own living. Hence, child labor is common there. Kids work in auto workshops, shops and hotels, and many other places.
In short, I want to say that the exploitation of kid's rights should be condemned strictly. Because these children are our future.

Popular Nursery Rhymes for Little Kids.

This poem is published in 1744,  for first time. And in nineteenth century it composed as a song for kids.
It is also said that it is satire on the export tax on cotton industry  that was implemented by the King Edward in the early thirteenth century.

Another view about its historical concept suggests that it refers to the tenure to of Edward II who encouraged the Flemish weavers and dyers to improve the quality of their production, because the best cotton in Europe was produced in London at that time.

"Ring a Ring a Roses" is a kid's gaming song that they sing during a game in which they make a ring by keeping hands.
But it is also said that it may have a connection to the historical plague in London in 1665. A rosy  red round  rash was a symptom of that fatal disease. And traditionally people kept their pockets full of posies and herbs, for, they think its reason was bad smell.
The use of "Ashes Ashes" make a guess to the great fire in which all disease carrier rat were burned.
In latest version of this poem "A tissue A tissue" is used in the Place of "Ashes Ashes." A tissue A tissue is gesture towards the sneezing that was another symptom for this disease.

Kids in Third World

image belongs to http://sxc.hu/
I love kids. That is why, I have created this blog, to help parents and guardians of innocent kids take proper care of their kids. I have written many posts about common problems among kids, about their dressing and maintenance, about their growth and development, and so on.
But last week I have to visit my native village, for my Grandfather's sickness. There I saw a woman having some cheap snacks in a basket to sell. She had two kids in her company. When I saw those kids, dressed up in rough and torn warm sweaters, with their stuffy nose and dry lips, bare feet, innocence in eyes,  in that cold early morning, I got trembled. They had a dark brown rash on their faces and no caps at all. The elderly girl had another basket of snacks to sell. But she was only 9 or 10 years old and it seemed to be hard for her to carry that basket because she was putting it on her head and after few minutes on the floor. And I have not seen that scene for the first time. These types of scenes are common in third-world countries.

Any one of you can imagine the life of a common kid in third world countries, where most of the kids are deprived of their primary needs, such as food, clothing, and a proper bed or place to sleep. Many kids have to spend their nights without any shelter; on footpaths, grounds, and plain plots. 40-45% of kids have food only one time a day. 30% of kids have no food even a single time of day. Many of them have to survive on a limited amount of food, a day.
Here I would like to share the incident. I had a meeting by chance, with one of the maids of my friend. My friend asked her to throw out the extra rice and chicken qorma (a local Pakistani dish) that were left after dinner a day before. But in spite of throwing that all stuff into the bin, she gave it to her 8 years old daughter to eat. I was surprised and inquired her why was she fetching her daughter on that food, which may be got spoiled then. She answered that something is better than nothing. Many kids are fetched on the food that is wasted. I have seen many children, who collect objects from garbage piles, eating rotten fruits and other eatables that they find from the garbage while doing their duty of collecting objects.
In short, I want to draw the attention of the world to the painful and terrible life of a common third-world child, who has to face the cruel face of the world.
